Effective as of October, 2022

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY. ORDERING SERVICES THROUGH THE SITE OR APPLICATION, OR USING THE SERVICES CONSTITUTE ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY ON YOUR BEHALF.

The following Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit our Site or Application (“App”) or use our Services. Any capitalized but undefined terms shall have the meaning prescribed to them in our Terms of Use, which is available at https://www.prys.io/terms-of-use/.

Personal Information

In order to use the Services detailed on our Site or App, users must provide personal information such as name, email address, mailing address, business details, IP address, app URL and Google sign-in, in addition to data collected by a third-party which you provided us with access, such as Google Analytics and Shopify. This information will be collected, processed and stored by the Company in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Non-Personal Information

We may also collect non-personally identifying information about customers whenever they use the Services or visit the Site or App. Non-personal identification information may include non-identifying information regarding customers’ use of the Services as well as information about the device through which a customer is using the Services, including what type of device it is, its operating system, device settings, unique device identifiers, and crash data.

Whether some or all of this information is collected often depends on what type of device is being used and its settings (to learn more about what information your device makes available to us, you should also check the policies of its device manufacturer or software provider). In addition, we may collect unidentified geographic location information for analytics purposes.

Legal bases for processing

We will process your personal information lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner, collect and process information about you only where we have legal bases for doing so which depend on the services you use and how you use them, meaning we collect and use your information only where:

  • it’s necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or to take steps at your request before entering into such a contract (for example, when we provide a service you request from us);
  • it satisfies a legitimate interest (which is not overridden by your data protection interests), such as for research and development, to market and promote our services, and to protect our legal rights and interests;
  • you give us consent to do so for a specific purpose (for example, you might consent to us sending you our newsletter); or
  • we need to process your data to comply with a legal obligation.

Where you consent to our use of information about you for a specific purpose, you have the right to change your mind at any time (but this will not affect any processing that has already taken place).

Cookies

We and our service providers or third-party advertisers may use cookies, web beacons, or other similar technologies when you and/or other users visit or interact with the Site or App. Cookies are small files of code, usually stored on your computer or device, which enable a website to “personalize” itself for each user and remember its preferences. Most websites that you visit today will use cookies in one way or another in order to improve your experience. You can change your cookie settings at any time, but otherwise, we will assume you agree to continue.

Third-Party Services

As described in our Terms of Use, the Services include features and content of Google Analytics, from which the Company may receive certain information about you. The use of Google Analytics’ features and content and receipt of such information is subject to the then-current versions of the Google Analytics Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy, as detailed below.

We and our service providers or third-party advertisers may also use Google Analytics to collect information about usage on the Site or App. Google Analytics helps us analyze how users use the Services. We use this information to improve the Services and to provide information that may be of interest to you.

Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service, available at: https://www.google.com/analytics/terms, and the Google Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-US. You have some choices concerning the use of these analytics. For instance, to prevent Google Analytics from using your information for analytics, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on by clicking here, but this may affect the Services being provided to you. We are not responsible for Google Analytics use of your information. Prys’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The Services include features and content of Shopify.com, from which the Company may also receive certain information about you. The use of Shopify.com’s features and content and receipt of such information is subject to the then-current versions of the Shopify.com Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We also work with third-party service providers for payment processing (such as www.paddle.com, as will be displayed at the time of payment), which may require them to access or use information about you that you supply. This may include Personal Data. The privacy policy of that third party will apply for the payment processing.
